Pasacao Getaway

So what's next after taking the Nurse Licensure Examination? If you are a Filipino, you surely know the answer to that question. Whether you pass or not, you'd be invited to left and right celebrations! I already attended about five celebrations so far. That's because I failed to attend another two due to conflict in my schedule. So in total, I've been invited to attend seven. Can you believe all of those happened only for two weeks? It was an insult to my established diet. Well, do I have a choice? When talking about food and I mean lots of foods for free, then I have no choice but to surrender to the tasty temptation!

Luckily for me, I passed the examination and was granted the permission by my parents to join the getaway sponsored by one of my college classmates. You might be wondering why I'm wearing make up while on beach. I'm kind of shy to admit this but the truth is my friends and I decided to join the SM Teegram contest so we thought that the view at Pasacao, Camarines Sur is just great for the modelling thing. However, my who friend was in charge of uploading the pictures failed to submit the entry on time so to cut the story short, we didn't make it to the deadline. It's okay, anyway. After all, I had fun acting stupid--make up on the beach.

We were greatly accommodated in the resort, which is owned by my classmate's aunt. The name of the resort is Surfer's Paradise. It really looks like a mini-paradise. There were lots of food too! Look at that huge pizza winking at me! My mouthed watered! Sorry for the lechon but I'm a fan of pizzas!

After eating, we swam most of the night. the water was warm and for about a hundred meters from the shore, the depth was only 5 feet! It was like swimming in a pool! Perfect for someone like me who only knows how to stay above water for thirty seconds.

In the morning, we went into an island. It has a fantastic view! But before that, Ohnel did some make over on me for the photoshoot. He's the one in the middle of the picture above. He's really good at what he does. Sadly, his efforts on transforming my ordinary face into something better bore no fruit because we failed to enter the competition. I've always admired his versatility when it comes to all forms of arts.

I was choreographed by Tikei and Ohnel. I don't really know how to do the posing thing. My body is so stiff and I can't freely do any pose because I have chunks of fats to hide. Haha! Seriously, that's the reason why I'm on diet!

I realized that it's not that easy to be a model. You need to be confident and not self conscious. I can't do that! It's kind of awkward! However, I'm planning to work on it. It's kind of fun too! I need to be graceful, though. The fats, I can do something about it but the grace... that's yet to be seen. ^_^

This is the best picture I had during that day. It looks natural, somehow. It doesn't look that awkward. The background is just perfect for my top and my boots too!

I look chubby in this picture but I don't care. This one is my idea--the water-sprinkling. I didn't know that it could look good on camera. The picture looks so carefree and happy and light and... well, it looks nice. ^_^
